Producer info and cup notes:
Located 40km from Shakiso in Sidamo, Ethiopia, sits Mulish washing station at 1800-1950masl. Founded in 2014 by Faysel Abdosh and the team at Testi Coffee when there were just a few farmers in the area, Mulish washing station has now grown to serve over 880 smallholder farmers. In the midst of this rapid growth, Testi Coffee opened its sister station, Bishan Dimo. We sourced this coffee through our importing partner, Trabocca, who have been working within Ethiopia since 2004, and are dedicated to maintaining stable and traceable year over year purchasing relationships within Ethiopia and beyond it. In the cup, we find huge candied peach notes with a crisp meyer lemon acidity. As it cools, an intricate array of white florals like vanilla and chamomile enter the picture, eventually settling into a marshmallow-esq sweetness.
